Black History Month Panel
We are thrilled to share we had in event in celebration of Black History Month. As part of our commitment to honouring the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the Black community, we hosted an inspiring event featuring three remarkable speakers.
An Outlook On Local Democratic Society: Women and Media
Laurier Social Justice Club alongside WLPA (Women Leading Politics Association) hosted an event in honour of International Women’s Day. We brought together four women from different backgrounds in media, a male-dominated industry.
This panel focused on amplifying the voices of women in media. We spoke about sexism and misogyny within the workplace, amplifying our voices, owning our femininity, showcasing our confidence, and everything in between.
Pie Us For Charity
We had an event which evolved throwing pies and eggs at some of our team members. All proceeds from this event went towards Little Footprints Big Steps. Learn more below about them...
